This is a New Apollo Series Fisher Space Pen Model #S251. This listing is for one with a Chrome Top & Black Barrel. The Apollo Series Cap-O-Matics feature ametal top and a plastic bottom, in this case a chrome top and ablack bottom. This is a retractable pen with no button on top, the whole cap moves to work the point. This pen is 5-1/8\" long. The barrel is .383 and has taperedgrip anda pocket clip. The Apolloseries come with a medium point black ink cartridge and uses the standard \"SPR\" series refills.There isa Fisheron mydesk, How about yours?

TheApolloseriespens are offered in seven colors,black, red, green, yellow, burgundy, white, and blue as shown in one ofthephotos. Each color is offered with Chrome or Gold tops.

The standard Fisher “SPR Series”Refills were developed for NASA and have been used on EVERY Space Shuttlemission both American and Russian. They are hermetically sealed with aspeciallyformulated thixotropic inkandpressurized to about 35 PSI. Theyare the onlyrefills that willwrite at any angle because they do not rely on gravity.
