Paul\'s Mall and the Jazz Workshop were adjoining clubs, located downstairs at 733 Boylston Street in Boston. The Workshop opened in 1963, the Mall one year later, and they both closed forever on Sunday, April 9, 1978. Dee Dee Bridgewater opened for B.B. King in Paul\'s Mall, and Milt Jackson played with Ray Santisi\'s trio to close the Workshop. It was full circle for Santisi, worked the opening engagement at the Jazz Workshop with Stan Getz in 1963.This original handbill is printed on plain paper and measures 6.5 x 10 inches (17 x 25.5 cm). Condition is fair to good. The flyer was damaged by water, which wrinkled the right edge, and the right and bottom edges were stained red by the paper next to it. Small chips/tears around bottom right corner. It\'s a bit beat up, yes, but it is also a piece of Boston music history. The Troy Street Images watermark does not appear on the actual flyer.
