Folk Art Birdseye View Sketch Drawing 1800s Harbor Town Horse Ship Antique Naive For Sale

Here is a wonderful old sketch with some painted highlights. A birdseye view of a town with a working harbor in the background, lots of people mingling, riding on a horse drawn carriage, etc. It is on what seems to be some kind of paper on board or composite, we are not sure. The veneer frame has some damage but the drawing is in very good condition, the only issue is a bent corner at the top right. The drawing is 18 1/2" x 12", the frame is 20" x 13 1/4". No glass.

Please take the time to read the information that applies to you below. If you have any questions or need more photos, let us know (allowing time for answers please). Photos are part of the description and show all that is included. We may not be familiar with the items we are selling so do not take our lack of info as intentional.

The items we sell are almost always used and sold as is as found no returns unless otherwise noted. However if we make an error in our listing and an item is not as described then we will of course work it out with the buyer. But noreturns for any reason after 3 days from delivery, that gives you more than enoughtime to open and inspect your item(s). Expect normal age appropriate signs of wear and use, sometimes odors, dust, etc, these items are often attic and basement estate finds.

SHIPPING INFO: A reasonable fee is added to the exact shipping for all sales, this fee is based on and goes towards the insurance and handling. It is already included in the shipping estimate. If we find a less expensive way to ship we will adjust the charge, and if you do not want all the items in a listing let us know right away after the sale so we don’t pack it as is the morning after the sale.

If a package is lost or arrives damaged our insurance requires the buyer to sign a claim statement and they may want to inspect the package or item. Do not throw out the original box or packing materials, contact us directly, damaged items are not item not as described issues. We only ship to the address that is on the PayPal payment, and it needs to be confirmed or verified. We do not use media mail for items that do not qualify as media mail.

INTERNATIONAL buyers ONLY: If an item qualifies for the global shipping program we only receive a small portion of the quoted shipping, enough to ship to a US facility. The rest is the duty taxes and the international shipping cost and not money we ever receive. We have chosen to use this program because it is safer for a seller and faster for a buyer, we do not set the rates or the shipping method.

For items that do not qualify for that program we ship directly. Sold price can change the shipping method we will use.Any item that totals over $499.00 in shipping and sold price has to be sent Express International, and if between 249.00 - 499.00 we require priority international mail. The sale sold price is the only amount that will appear on the customs form as the item value, we will not change the value on the customs form for any reason. Any import duties or taxes you may have to pay on your end are your responsibility and not additional shipping. If you are not able to get a shipping quotein the sale that means the box is larger or heavier than what your country allows for the service listed, please do not offer without contacting us for clarification or other options.

COMBINED SHIPPING:We combine shipping whenever possible. Some items can’t be combined safely, or the box size is gets too big and/or too heavy. Also a larger box may not show much of a shipping savings over two smaller ones. But we also charge exact plus the small fee mentioned above.

FOR BOX LOTS OR LARGE LOTS: Box lots allow us to list things we would not otherwise, and buyers get a substantial shipping savings over buying items one at a time. Photo or scrapbook albums, flatware sets, and other sales that contain many individual items are also considered box lots. Box lots are not described or inspected item by item but we will mention any issues we are aware of. If a particular item in a box lot is important, feel free to ask any questions or for additional photos of that item before you offer so you can offer accordingly.

Payment should be received within 3 days of sale end.

Sales tax is required for all NY shipments.
