This truck is partially restored.It has (was) (now needs another) a new paint job ,new engine rebuild (has less than 300 miles on the rebuild,that in itself was 2000 dollars) newwiring,all new side running boards new front grill pieces,new wooden bed,new plugs and points and voltage regulator ,new 8 volt battery,two newcarburetors,new tires /7.50 RIGLT less than 300 miles on them ,these cost well over 1000 dollars ,one has had a side hole ,but was fixedprofessionallyand have had no trouble with it ,even with large loads .And many more parts .I have a bunch of parts that go with it. And a few dents and dings .The reason I bought this truck to begin with was because Icouldnot find another 1953 Ford f-250 single axle dump ,anywhere.If some one knows of one ,please send pictures.(So far ,in 6 months,no one has sent me any pictures.And Ive had a few thousand lookers)This truck really is a good find, and, if you are anything like me,every kid wants a dump truck. Being a singleaxle,the plates only cost as much as a regular truck ,not the 650 dollars atandemcosts here in Illinois.(perk)I believe this to be one of a kind.I am a unioniron worker,and have looked hard at all the welds involved in the dump.They are perfect and the punched holes under the drivers seat where the up and down for the dump control are located are perfect or factorydone. Thatswhy I believe this to be a factory done ,custom made dump truck.It does need work ,but it runs now .And can be used .But if I were going to keep it .I would have fun with it (work on it) this winter. Thats the most fun.When this truck is going down the road .Not a person dosent look and most of them , wave.Just in ADVERTISING this truck is worth tens of thousands.It looks like that hidden vally truck,only better.Send me your best offer .Where is Jay Leno when you need him.One other thing ,if you are interested I will not take any less than 5000.00.I have much more in the truck So if you are waiting .you will be waiting a long time.
