This item is for a set of four. sterling silver round-soup-gumbo-spoons is in the Rose pattern by R. Wallace & Sons. Am selling for a family member. Has been in their family for years and has actually been tucked away in tarnish resistant fabric for the past 25 years. Don\'t know actually how old these are. Could be 50 to 60 years old or older.
This pattern - Rose - was introduced in 1934. On the back of the spoon it reads - Pat. 1898- RW&S Sterling. This pattern is scarce and hard to find.
This sterling silver is in excellent used condition and has a wonderful patina having been properly stored the past 25 years. Has not been cleaned or polished. The monogram is the letter \"M\".
Each spoons weighs 52 grams.
