A vivid blue green butterfly set in an inlaid frame which compliments the colors of the butterfly perfectly! This male specimen has special \"Scent Scales\", or androconial tufts; long yellow specialized feathery scales near the base of the abdomen that are thought to produce pheromones for communication. The exact purpose is still a mystery, but they are probably used to attract females.
