Fully carved 4/4 size violin from Framus in Germany. Not dated but probably made in the 1960\'s. The tailpiece is metallic with built in fine tuners, which may give a hint as to it\'s age. Top is one piece, and back is two piece. No cracks or separations anywhere. Fingerboard, nut, and pegs are ebony. Aubert bridge. Soundpost is in place; instrument is set up nicely for playing. Cosmetic condition is very good to excellent, depending on what you expect from an approximately 50 year old violin that has been played. (see photos) Includes case that may be original, it is a molded (fiberglass?) design with all clasps and hinges functioning.
