In 1980, the internationally-renowned artist Yaacov Agam designed a beautiful postage stamp for the French Post Office. He titled it \"Message de Paix\", meaning \"Message of Peace\". First Day Covers with that actual postage stamp. All of the FDCs have the original postage stamp affixed to them, and all are postmarked October 4, 1980, the day the stamps were issued.

FDC are shown. The size of each envelope is 4¾\" x 8½\". This was the first time that France permitted the facsimile signature of an artist to be shown on its cancel. All the FDCs are in excellent condition. These FDCs are a true collectors\' item for lovers of Agam\'s art as well as philatelists.
