FRANCE: Paper weight in the form of the famous WW1 French 75 mm Artillery Gun/Howitzer, with its shell carriagenext to it. The French Adrian helmet hides the inkbowl (missing). Manufactured inthe 1920-30s, as the M1897 Guns were still in use by the French forces at the outbreak of WW2. The inkwell is typical midwar period item, marked \"Made in France\" (the logo was used in the midwar period), numbered (2071) and signed by its artist/designer (Ouveb).
