This is an antique Cabinet Photo of First Lady Frances Folsom Cleveland (Mrs Grover Cleveland) with a Facsimile of a personal message from her on the back signed by her and dated June 14, 1886. It also bares the Executive Mansion stamp. It is about 5 1/8\"X8.5\". The image is in excellent condition with only very minor imperfections. The background card has some faint scuffs on the front and some very minor yellowing to the back. The First Lady appears to have returned this proof sent to her by the photographer for approval with a message expressing how pleased she was with his photography and authorizing him to sell or use the images as he pleased. The image is copyrighted by J.E. Hale of Seneca Falls NY, 1886.
