Description:A very nice two volume set of Francis Palgrave\'s Golden Treasury in the original deluxe vellum. Volume one (381 pages plus 2 page catalogue to the rear), volume two 275 pages).Measuring 6.25 inches by 4.25 inches. Top edge gilt. Original vellum with gilt titles to spine. Original ribbon ties. The book is in very nice condition with some light creasing to the covers, some dulling to spine (see pictures). Gilt titles remaining very bright. Ownership signature to the from free end paper dated of the first series. Binding is sound and square. A lovely set.
