This magnificent collector doll is a Franklin Mint Heirloom porcelain Scarlett O’Hara from Gone With The Wind as she appeared in her famous movie portrait. This portrait hung in Rhett’s bedroom. She is hand painted porcelain, wearing a midnight blue velvet dress with petticoat and bustle underneath. Over her shoulder she wears a soft lace stole and she leans against a classically detailed column. Golden earrings set with violet colored glass cabochons and a handmade faux pearl tiara complete her ensemble. I purchased her in 2001 from the Franklin Mint. She comes with original box showing normal shelf wear, all accessories, COA, pillar and complimentary 8x10 portrait which was included with original purchase (not shown). She is approximately 18 1/2” in height. She has been removed from box and on display in a glass enclosed case in my smoke free home. She is issued in a special hand numbered portrait edition.
