From the hit Star Trek television series, theFranklin Mint produced the Exclusive Bronze Collector\'s Edition of the OriginalSeries Enterprise ship and sculpture in solid bronze (weighing about 30 lbs.)with24 karatgold plated andred cabochon stonecrystalaccents. Authorized by Paramount Pictures, this VERY RARE andmagnificently detailed sculpture measures approximately 19 inches tall, 12inches across, and 14 inches deep and is in mint condition. Inspired by the ArtDirectorMatt Jeffries\' original design for the U.S.S. Enterprise, thebronze Enterprise itself is the same size as the regular pewterversionsat 10 inches long, 4.5 inches wide, and 2 inches deep (top of saucer andnacelles to bottom of hull). It comes complete with acustom-designedpolished granite base, and was limited to 1701 pieces worldwide back in 1999. Eachsculptureis individually hand numbered and \"signed\" in the moldwith a reproduction of Matt Jefferies\' signature mark. As you can see in thephotos, this piece is number 1248 out of 1701.

This was a prize possession of my grandfather whohas recently passed and we must sale off his stuff. From what research I’vedone I believe the price to be fair considering they sold from the FranklinMint for $1,500 at the time of release – I’m sure they’ve gained in value, butmy grandfather’s passing has left us in the red with handling his estate.

The sculpture has sat on my grandfather’s mantle foras long as he has been in possession of it and it is in great condition. Sculpturewill be packed to ensure that the piece is received by you in the conditionthat it left me.
