I am selling a Franklin Mint Kate Middle Portrait Doll. The 16\" doll comes in the original box. (There is no Certificate of Authenticity with the doll.) The back of the box reads, \"November 16, 2010 - Kate Middleton graciously accepts an offer of marriage from Prince William of Wales and the world watches as they share their love for one another with us. Looking like the Princess she will become, Kate was beautiful in a blue silk jersey dress with her dashing fiance at her side as the cameras snapped---capturing for eternity this magical moment in time. Wearing the engagement ring of Princess Diana, the legacy of royal romance is continued as Kate now begins planning for what we know will be the Wedding of the Century. This stunning portrait doll captures all the magic of that most special moment and commemorates the importance of this moment in history for generations. And the world now waits for the new Princess to become a bride...\" There is no blue jersey dress, however. Kate wears her lovely gold chain necklace with a black stone and also wears the Princess Diana engagement ring. One of my photos shows Kate in a tiara. There is no tiara included in this offer. Rather she is wearing the Black Gown of the Black Gown Ensemble made by Franklin Mint for the Princess Diana doll. The black gown has one strap which has become separated from the snap. The black gown is a re-creation of the gown Princess Diana wore on the night of the screening of her \"panorama\" interview. The gown has a black lace overlay at the top of the dress, trimmed with sequins and beads. There is a Certificate of Authenticity which comes with the black gown. There are no other items with the black gown. The doll comes with the \"Kate Portrait of a Princess\" stand. Please note condition of the black gown as listed above.
