One of the most beautiful, elaborate and detailed fantasy Chess sets ever made, designed by artist Michael Whelan. Each of the thirty-two playing pieces is an extraordinary work of art, intricately sculptured with great imagination and painted by hand. Interest battlefield design of the smoked glass chess board, enclosed within a frame, sculptured in the form of a mythical castle with towers erected on all four corners. The Chess pieces are stored inside a hidden area within the base in specially designed, individual compartments.
