Here is the Franklin Mint Heirloom Porcelain Doll Little Bo Peep! Little Bo Peep is the first collector doll that Helen Kish created for Franklin Heirloom dolls. This doll is part of the Nursery Rhyme Collection. Little Bo Peep is 17\" tall and hand-painted bisque porcelain, with rose blush lips, long honey blonde bangs, curls, and bright eyes. The bodice of Bo Peep\'s cotton blouse is carefully smocked. Her full underskirt is a charming and dainty calico print, edged by eyelet lace. and her magnificent bouffant overskirt is tailored by hand of genuine imported silk broadcloth. The elastic on the overskirt is worn on one side, so it does not gather as tightly as it did in its original condition. Her bonnet is crafted of the same fine quality imported silk, and trimmed with tiny handcrafted satin roses. Beneath it all, she wears pantalets, edged by the same scalloped lace that sets off her fine cotton apron, with its delicate picot of satin ribbon.
In one of Little Bo Peep\'s graceful porcelain hands is her white-painted shepherd\'s crook. With a hand-tied pink satin bow that perfectly matches her country calico.
