A very nice sterling silver bar from Franklin Mint celebrating Christmas 1974. It weighs 1000 GRAINS (over 2 Troy ounces) of Sterling silver and measures about 1/4 inch thick. The ingot is still encased in its original factory cellophane as issued by the mint. The cellophane is becoming a bit fragile with the passage of time, but is still firmly in place.
