Whimsical drip glaze jug by Gilbert Metenier, signed to the base and in tip-top condition.Distinctive details - the dimpled form, the lobed handle, the unusual drip glaze combination - brown, faint flashes of green and pale pink are typical of this innovative studio pottery which closed before World War II. Beautiful piece that won\'t go unnoticed.
