French Antique Art NouveauBoxed Cake/Pie Server - Tableware

A very nice large size pie/cake server from the French artNouveau period – the 1890’s-1900’s - with a silverplated handle and a solidbrass server with an open stylized floral cut-work pattern.

The handle has very delicate acanthus leaf pattern, typical ofthe 1900’s and the server measures 11¾ inches (30 cms).

All parts are well attachedand it is in very good condition, with very minor traces of surface wear.

It comes in its original box with its silk interior lining invery good condition and closes well.

The server is well balanced and easy touse and is an elegant piece of tableware.
