A lovely silverplated antique centerpiece from the Art Nouveauperiod – the 1890’s-1910’s with its etched glass insert. Theframeis decorated with an ormolu bow –Napoleon III style – and grapes in the center.

The glass insert has a geometric pattern on the base with aribbon of hearts(?). It measures 13 inches from one end of the handle to theend of the other and stands 3 ½ inches high at the center.

The oval shaped glass insert is 8 ½ inches by 5 ¼ inches andfits perfectly. Very solid, it weighs 2.1 lbs.

The centerpiece is in overall very good condition, with minortraces of wear. The edge of the glass insert has two very small chips, hardlyvisible and found by touch.

It is a pretty centerpiece that looks very stylish when filledwith flowers or small plants.
