Description of item for sale:
This antique spire is from France and it dates to the gothic revival period of the mid-1800\'s. It is genuinely old but we do not know its original use. It was most likely part of interior decoration in a church. It is made out of solid oak. The details are hand carved and well crafted. This piece is in good antique condition: several pieces of the curled trim are missing and there are minor cracks, chips and discolorations (see photos). Dimensions: 54\" tall and 24\" in diameter.
