Elegant french antique coral rosary; art nouveau period (1880-1910).The decorative cross and center medal are hallmarked for sterling silver and washed with a layer of 18 karat vermeil gold along with the other varied medals, securely linked to 53 delicately hand-carved and polished coral beads.Condition is very good with mild wear to the vermeil. The metal links between the coral beads have darkened over time but hold strong and solid due to quality workmanship. Worth noting are the remarkably crisp, detailed images upon the medals. Measurements are as follows:
