Superb French Art Deco 18 carat gold, lacquer and enamel cigarette case, made by Cartier Paris circa 1930.
This is a beautiful cigarette case, rectangular in shape with a hinged and sprung front which when pulled forward automatically opens the case.
The inside has a finely pierced and chased gold retaining band.
The case is 4 inches / 101 mm wide and 3-1/8 inches / 79 mm deep. It weighs 84 grams.
The cigarette case has clear hallmarks and is engraved Cartier Paris.
The cigarette case is in excellent condition with no dents, damage or repair.
I accept payment via Paypal as well as personal cheques in Pounds Sterling drawn on a UK bank. For international customers, by arrangement payment may also be done via bank wire transfer.
