French Art Deco Silvoz Paris Marble Based Mantle Clock with Spelter Birds:

A stunning art deco clock made by Silvoz of Paris. The base is made from black and cream marble. The birds are very well modelled and I believe are spelter and not bronze. Sadly I have been told that the escapement is not working and it comes without a key (although keys are cheaply picked up). A beautiful display piece nonetheless and perhaps with the right part, it may work again. The aesthetic condition of the clock is excellent with no chips or cracks anywhere and with the face still bright. Height - 34 cms. Length - 29.5 cms. Depth - 12 cms.Would prefer collection from Canterbury, Kent but will post - expensive due to weight.Please note that this item is for sale elsewhere so I reserve the right to withdraw this item ONLY IF there are no offers on it.
