French Large Fish Server Sunflower Openwork 950 Silver Paris 1819 - 950 standard silver large fishserver with an open work bladedecorated with a sunflower, bright cutfloral patterns and an applied flowerbasket, with a wooden handle. The fishserver has a full and well-struck setof marks for Paris, 1819 - 1838, withthe silversmith\'s initials F. J. in adiamond. The central part of the bladeis monogrammed \"DBC\". This elegantfish server is 12 5/8\" long and 3 5/16\"at the widest. The soft, warm,original finish is present, with nobuffing or machine polishing. Theexcellent original condition and cleardetail, with no removals, repairs oralterations, make this an especiallyattractive offering. [f3969]
