Late 19th Century FRENCH ORMOLU AND MOTHER OF PEARL decorated Diminutive Pitcher with a rare BLACKAMOOR STOPPER. The stopper has a pretty red gem in the front of his decorated Cap. Hand made souvenir craft.The wealthiest used to go on fun vacations during the GRAND TOUR era in Paris, France, into Italy, etc between 1850 - 1899. Palais Royal was one of the popular destinations.Curved handle Pitcher with beautiful large Mother of Pearl shells. The natural Mother of Pearl is reflective of various colors in light above it- pearlescent. Sits on an ormolu reticulated disc and that sits on a lovely brighter gold -toned square tassel- form footed Base. The base is actually marked \"Florenza\".
