A rare, hand crafted turn of the century French sterling (950 pure)
and mixed metals tea and coffee service with serving tray.
Japanese taste.
From the Paris workshop of Christofle Orfevres.
Gently tapering circular form adorned with copper and gold
highlighted wisteria, on all over hand hammered surfaces.
Well cast covers with copper butterflies in various form.
The serving tray crafted as an ancient Japanese basket.
Center with copper butterfly amidst gold accented wisteria and copper branch,
conforming hammered surface.
Wisteria and gold accented twin vine fixed overhead handle.
Never monogrammed.
Each piece of the set is signed as shown.
The hand crafted French sterling - mixed metal Japanese
basket form tray is 12 1/2 inches
the teapot and coffee pot 6 inches
