Margaret Smith founded her handbag company in Maine in the 1940s,at the suggestion of friends she had made beach totes for as gifts.Typically designed with floral prints, her bags were sold in women’sspecialty shops and, in the 1950s/1960s, by Bonwit Teller.Margaret Smith Inc. dropped its clothing line in 2005 and closedcompletely in 2008.Sturdy sided formed bag in chintz fabric with an all over floralprint in red, yellow and pink on a green background.Large outer slip pocket.Brassturn-lockclosure andaccordionsides.Dual fabric handles with an approx 4 1/2\" drop.Sleek satiny (Acetate?) interior with a zippered divider section.Platform bottom.Measures approx 12\" W x 10\" H x 4\" D

Item will either be shipped by first class or priority mail thru
the USPS postal service. Only priority mail provides tracking.
Even though priority mail says that you will get it in a few days,
chances are that it can take up to 90 days to get to you due to
customs in your country. The package is only scanned until it
leaves the USA and is not scanned when it reaches customs in
your country. Most of the time it isn\'t even scanned when it
is delivered to you. Please know that this information came to
me directly from USPS and their protocol is out of my control.
