Authentic World War II era chalkware bust of General Douglas MacArthur, commander of the Allied forces in the Pacific theatre against the Japanese during WWII. This bust is signed on one side by the artist \"© 1942 - H.J.H. Jr.\", and the other end is inscribed \"MAC\". This bust is made of a dark bronze finished chalkware composition material, and depicts MacArthur with four stars on each shoulder, which was accurate in 1942 (MacArthur was awarded his fifth star in 1944). It stands 5.25\" tall b 3.5\" wide by 2.5\" deep. The front of the plinth is inscribed \"We Shall Win or We Shall Die - MacARTHUR\". It\'s expertly sculpted with excellent detail and captures MacArthur\'s imperious pose. A genuine piece of WWII memorabilia.
