I have discovered a small quantity of UNUSED, unlabeled GENUINE Coricidin bottles (NOT a modern reproduction) and I am sharing them with anyone who knows what great slide tone is all about, or who wants to take their slide playing to a whole new level. These are the bottles used by Duane Allman, Derek Trucks and a small number of other guitar players who have owned one since back in the day, or who have been lucky enough to find one in recent years. These GENUINE Coricidin bottles are becoming more and more difficult to find, and they have not been in production for many years. But thankfully enough were manufactured that as of right now they are within reach of guitar players who want the best.
These bottles are approximately 2 3/4\" long and 1 2/32\" diameter AT THE BASE. They are marked with the letter \"W\" in a circle, with a number outside the circle, on the bottom. This is proof positive that they are GENUINE. They were made in a mold, and have a very thin seam that runs the length of the bottle. The glass is wavy (See the main listing photo)and their weight is the perfect balance for great slide playing-something modern reproductions just cannot duplicate. THE SOUND YOU GET FROM THESE BOTTLES IS LIKE NOTHING ELSE!I will be selling these bottles at the samevery reasonable price as my other Coricidin bottles. I want to make these affordable so that more guitar players will be able to experience the tone and playability they offer.
