This is a genuine U.S. Military Issue Mess kit complete with utensils dated 1966. Complete set-up in very good to excellent condition. Great for camping, hunting, hiking, etc. The individual soldier\'s mess kitconsists of the two part \"meat can\" plus knife, fork, and spoon. This has been the standard design since the early 20th Century. This unique design allows user to wash all 5 pieces together using the handle and slotted utensils.
