This curious and scarce George E. Ohr puzzle mug stands 3.25\" high by 4.5\" across by 3.25\" in diameter. It features pierced sides near the top with hollow mug sidewalls. The curious design allows the liquid into the hollow sidewalls, which allows the liquid to move around the pierced holes near the lip. A drinking hole at the top of the lip allows the liquid to be consumed without spilling. The handle is decorated with an incised design while the body of the mug is finished with a brown/charcoal glaze with silver/blue speckled highlights, a classic Ohr glaze combination. It has all the qualities of a hand made vessel, a nice organic form. This vessel is marked \'GE Ohr\', and it is guaranteed to be vintage Ohr from Biloxi. It is in original mint condition, with the usual nuances of hand thrown pots. George Ohr puzzle mugs are intriguing and rather hard-to-find, so here\'s your chance to add an interesting Ohr pot to your collection! Insured shipping will exceed our usual flat rate.
