George Wright\'s autograph is exceedingly rare. A true baseball pioneer as a player from 1869-1882 for Boston in the National Association , The Boston Red Stockings and Providence Grays and later as a sportsman in Golf, Tennis & Hockey. He was the first batter in the history of the National League. Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937 he died that same year.
