You are offerding on a hand-cast, hand-painted plastic figurine of President Gerald Ford, made to look like the 60mm Marx Toy Company presidential figurines of the 1950s and \'60s.

As frustrated collectors know, every day a set of Marx presidential figures is saleed on , with the most recent being Richard Nixon. But you never see vintage Marx figures of Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, George Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush or Barack Obama. Marx never made them and, forty years after the company went out of business, they never will.

This figurine is about 2 3/4 inches tall, hand cast in resin plastic, and hand painted with enamel paint. Like the Marx figurines, the name \"Ford\" appears on the front of the base in raised letters and \"38th 1974-77\" is on the back of the base.

Also up for sale separately are figurines of Presidents Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama. A photo above shows a complete set of the \"Seven Presidents Marx Never Made.\"

Unlike the Marx Presidents, of which tens of thousands were made, this figure is cast by hand; painted by hand; and individually and sequentially numbered.
