You are offerding on a WWII German K98 Mauser rifle bayonet, scabbardand leather frog. The bayonet is marked43 cvl, 4914u. The bayonet is 15 1/8inches and the blade is 9 7/8 inches. Theblade has a blue finish but is wearing thin on the high edges. The blade has not been sharpened and has adull edge. The tip is blunt. There aretwo stampings at the top of the pommel WaA 518. The grips are wood and are ingood condition. They do have scratchesand dents. The push button releasework. The scabbard is metal and ismarked 43 dml and the number 8640. Thereis a small WaA stamp on the tip. Theleather frog is in good condition. Therivets and stitching is intact.
