Gilbert "dino" Garcia Tufa Cast Sterling Spiderweb Bracelet Cuff W/coral Stone:
This awesome spiderweb tufa cast Sterling bracelet was created by Gilbert "Dino" Garcia of the Santo Domingo Pueblo. He was born in 1969 and learned to carve tufa molds and cast Sterling silver jewelry from his Grandfather, Leo Coriz (who learned the art from the legendary Charles Loloma). He is one of only a few working jewelers at the Santo Domingo Pueblo.
This tufa cast spiderweb bracelet is really a beauty with a small coral stone in the center sitting on a silver bezel. It weighs a nice heavy 70 grams and is 1 1/2" wide in the center, tapering down to 1/2" at the finished end terminals. It measures 6" from end to end and has a 1 1/4" gap or opening, for a total of 7 1/4". It is very rigid and, therefore, really cannot be adjusted. It is in excellent condition.
It is hallmarked "DINO" on the inside of this bracelet along with other designs along the border. It is a very interesting and unusual piece of jewelry made by a very talented artist. Thank you for looking.
