\"Crossroads\"was made by Master Sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1955. In 1990, Goebelissued a special edition Hummel of \"Crossroads\" to commemoratethedemise of the Berlin Wall. Limited to 20,000 worldwide this ispiece # . This figure is the same as the 1955 edition except that the \"HALT\"sign onthe post is placed at thebase of the post as if it hasfallen or been torn down. This edition was created for the US militaryforces and was sold through military base exchange stores only. Thisfigure is the regular production modelwith the sign onthe post, butit has an American and German Flag beneath the glaze under the base. Asecond piece is a representation of a piece of the wall with \"BerlinWall\". It also has the Flags underneath along the inscription\"With esteem and grateful appreciation to the United States MilitaryForces for the Preservation of peace and freedom.\" That same inscriptionis found on a brass plate on the front of the third piece, a wooden displaybase. The Berlin Wall piece is limited to 20.000 worldwide and sequentiallyhand-numbered beneath the base in the traditional manner of marking limitededitions. The two boys are approximately 6.5\" high, wall is approximately3.5\" high, wooden base is approximately 8.5\" across.

The piece is from my personal collectionthat I purchased in 1992 while living in Germany. Displayed in enclosed curio in non-smokinghouse.
In mint condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
