Estateand in mint condition, this is an authentic Goebel all ceramic still coin bank, shaped like a German snow-covered country farmhouse, very nicely detailed with chimney, siding, etc. Signed on base, along with Goebel hallmark, made in W. Germany; opening and original key taped to bottom.Coin opening is onleft side of the \'snow covered\' light brown roof. Appears to be hand painted, with paint drips, overruns, etc. evident of the human touch. Very rare piece, as many Hummel/Goebel collectors are unaware that Goebel also manufactured coin banks. True vintage piece. Measures 4 1/2\" by 4\", no chips, cracks, flaws, noted. Original key and stopper at bottom. Wonderful bank for a collection!Please see all photos for more details and close ups.
