**PLEASE** DO NOT SEND PAYMENTUNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY PERSONALIZED INVOICE.

I will invoice within 24 hours ofsale closing. PLEASE IGNORE YOUR AUTOMATIC WINNING buyer NOTICE FROM which will not calculate multiple wins correctly.

PLEASE READ ALL TERMS ANDCONDITIONS BEFORE offerDING, AND E-MAIL IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. Thank You.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

PAYMENT:Paypal is the only payment that I accept. Payment is requested within 3 days ofsale closing; if payment is not received within 5 days I reserve the rightto relist the item and cancel your offer.I will ship within 3 days of receiving payment. I cannot offer same-dayshipping.

MULTIPLE PURCHASES: I love ‘em; they mean less packing for me and shipping savings foryou. WAIT UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE before sending any payment for multiplepurchases.

RETURN POLICY: Ifyou are not satisfied with your purchase, PLEASE contact me before leavingresponse and I will try to address your problem fairly. I do not offer partialrefunds. I will refund the sale price plus your original shipping cost onitems improperly graded and returned in the original packaging within 14 daysof delivery. You must pay for return shipping. The same terms apply for items damagedby the postal service in transit. I do ask that you shoot me an e-mail with aphoto of the damaged record for my own insurance purposes.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING: Your record will be sandwiched between pieces ofheavy cardboard and shipped in a deep carton with plenty of packing material. Iwill invoice you for Media Rate shipping by default but I highly recommend that you choose the Priority Mail option. MediaMail packages are subject to opening for inspection – so much for my carefulpackaging. In addition, these parcels seem to receive rough handling, and Imyself have received broken 78s due to damage by USPS. Priority packages seemto have a much better success rate and I hope you will protect your investmentby choosing this option. Currently Ihave a large supply of sturdy recycled cartons to get your records to yousafely, so my handling charge is a minimal $1.25 per order for other shippingsupplies and delivery confirmation (this is included in my shipping fee). Thishandling charge is subject to change in the future.

MEDIA MAIL rate for one 10 or 12 inch 78 is generallyaround $4 with delivery confirmation, slightly higher for Diamond Discs. Iwill advise you as to costs of multiple purchases. Do not send payment until youreceive my invoice for multiple purchases.

PRIORITY MAILrate will depend upon your location (see shipping calculator). Pleaseuse the calculator only to get an idea of your final shipping costs and waitfor my invoice before sending payment. I will invoice within 24 hours ofsale closing.

response POLICY: I will leave positive response for you within 24 hours of receivingyour payment. In return I ask that you please contact me if there is any aspectof the transaction for which you would leave less than a four-star rating, andplease leave positive response for me as soon as possible after receiving yourpurchase.

GRADING SCALE: Igrade conservatively under strong light; all grading is visual. I will try tonote any discrepancies between visual grade and audio quality when possible. However, different styli will produce very different results so visual gradinghas become the standard for nearly all 78 dealers. I have not received a singlegrading complaint from any of my buyers.

NM: Looksand plays as new. I generally reserve this grade for records that I know or believeto be unplayed store stock.

E+: Looksand plays as new; full gloss, clean labels. Generally, my highest grade.

E: Veryslight, mostly cosmetic imperfections such as light paper scuffs may bepresent; record maintains high gloss and plays with little if any extraneoussurface noise

E-: May havevery light surface scratches, paper scuffs, small lamination creases (lams)that do not sound unless noted, very light visible needle wear; surface noiseis negligible to most listeners and well below music level; a collector-worthyrecord. Most records that I list will fall into either this category or V++.

V++: I usethis intermediate grade for records that play stronger than VG+ but don’t quiterate an E-; light but not overly intrusive surface noise may be present; stillvery acceptable for most collectors.

VG+: Mayhave any combination of light scratches, light scuffs and moderate needle wear;the “typical” used but not abused 78; surface noise is noticeable but does notoverpower music level; acceptable to most collectors until the E+ copy of yourdreams comes along

VG: Aboveflaws are more pronounced and surface noise approaches music level; I willgenerally list VG records only if they are of high musical or historic value.

LABELS: I donot grade labels, which will generally fall within the grade of the record, butwill note any major flaws.

REGARDING SURFACE NOISE: All 78s were not created equal. A VG+ Okeh from 1927will play with less surface noise than a 1927 Brunswick or Victor in “E”condition due to the noisy quality of the grainy shellac used by the latterlabels. I assume that if you are offerding on my records, you can tell thedifference between surface noise from wear and surface noise from a poorpressing. That having been said, I will try to note especially grainy or noisypressings in my descriptions when possible, but assume all grading is visual.
