For sale is the SCARLET candlestick from the \"GONE WITH THE WIND CANDLESTICKS” set from The Franklin Mint.
This sale is for the SCARLET candlestick ONLY.
The candlestick is in great condition with no cracks or repairs. It appears there are a couple of tiny nicks on the bottom of her dress, but you really have to look for them. (Please inspect the photos carefully as they are part of the description. If you would like to see more photos, please feel free to message me.)
The piece was crafted of fine bisque porcelain and hand embellished with accents of 24 karat gold. The height is about 10 inches.
The original set was created in tribute to the 50th anniversary of the premier of the film GONE WITH THE WIND, and the candlesticks were officially authorized by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Turner Entertainment. It was distributed exclusively by The Franklin Mint in 1989. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
Unfortunately, I no longer have the matching “Rhett Butler” candlestick that was part of this set. But this SCARLET would be a great replacement purchase if you have the Rhett candlestick from this set, but your Scarlet broke and you’ve been wanting to bring the couple back together again. :-)
