19th CENTURY SOLID SILVER AND ENAMEL CONTINENTAL CIGARETTE CASE

Description:
Excellent Continental (German? Austrian? Swiss?) solid silver cigarette case, marked for a standard of .935, and gilded interior. The lid sports a painted decoration (it is not a print) with a hunting motif, executed in enamel. Gorgeous piece.

Condition:
The case has no dents and it is in a very solid and excellent condition, which is better expressed by the pictures, except for a chip on the enamel and the logical signs of use.
