GORGEOUS ANTIQUE SIMON HALBIG GERMAN BISQUE 21\" DOLL W OLD CLOTHES

Description:

This beautiful antique bisque head doll has a kid leather body with composition lower limbs. She is 21\" tall. Doll has original wig, blue sleep eyes and pierced ears.
She has lovely facial paint with no rubs and detailed molding, right down to the dimple in her chin. Wig could use some styling but it is fairly full.
Condition is excellent. No chips, cracks or hairlines. Clean body with complete stitching. No musty smells. She is missing wax on her lids and does not have complete eye lashes.
Dress is lace and dotted Swiss. It looks to be of her era as do her shoes. Dress is clean with no holes and complete buttons. Shoes fit as they should.
Doll markings that I can read are: Germany Simon Halbig. There are more marks under leather that look to be a number and the initials S & H. I can\'t read the number without cutting the leather. I imagine you collectors will know. Would love to be enlightened.
She\'s a doll that will display quite well. Guaranteed Antique. ca. 1900.
