Up for sale with is a gorgeous large c1900 Art Nouveau Garlic Bread or Loaf Serving Basket Bowl. The Basket is a very fine quality example and fully marked for the fine Webster Silver Company. The Basket features gorgeous Art Nouveau Pierced andFlower designs along with a beautiful flowing form. The Basket is much nicer than my photos show and features a fine engraved original owner\'s monogram of a \"B\". The Basket is in excellent condition with minor signs of use and age including some minor dimple marks but certainly nothing bad as seen. I also like the rolled over reinforced rim which makes it quite sturdy for modern use. The Basket measures13-1/4 inches long by7 inches wide and sits2 inches tall at the ends, perfect for serving anything from Garlic Bread to Grapes and Cheese at a Wine Party. The Basket weighs188 grams and is Solid Sterling Silver throughout. I love the unique Art Nouveau design of this Dish and I am sure the new owner will too or it would make a lovely and uniqueHoliday gift.
