GORGEOUS SET OF VINTAGE Christmas ANGEL BELLS

I have collected sets of vintage ceramic bells, planters and figurines for years and have many, many sets. I only collected excellent to mint items. Any flaw had to be tiny and not noticeable when on display. However, keep in mind that, as with all of the ceramics that were made in Japan at that time, the paint jobs can be a little rough - they weren\'t meant to be works of art. As we retire, we are doing what many people do and that is downsizing. I will be selling most, if not all, of my collection during the next few weeks - so, please visit us regularly to see what we have listed.

Listed here is wonderful and rare set of angel bells by Ucogco Co. Japan. Each is marked in back with an indented stamp that is a C with an N running through it as shown in the photo above. They are shown and identified on page 70 in the book \"Vintage Christmas Ceramic Collectibles\" by Walter Dworkin.

The angels measure 5 1/4\" in height and are dressed in red gowns with white \"spaghetti\" at the front hems of the skirts and at the cuffs at the wrist. They also have white collars with three white rhinestones at the neck.

1. The first angel has her eyes closed and has blonde hair. She carries a Santa mask in her green-gloved hands. She has no nicks, chips, cracks or crazing but has three pencil point paint misses - two on her left arm and one on the front of her skirt. They are very small and barely noticeable unless examining very closely.

2. The second angel has her eyes open and has reddish-brown hair. She carries a black and white striped candy cane in her brown-gloved hands. She has no nicks, chips, cracks or crazing but her factory paint job is a little uneven on the back of her skirt.

3. The third angel has her eyes open and pale green hair. She carries a gold-trimmed white star in her green-gloved hands. This bell has a perfect paint job and no nicks, chips, cracks or crazing.

It is extremely rare to find these bells in a complete set and these are in remarkably good condition. Theywould make an incredible addition to your Christmas, angel or bell collection. They have beenstored in our smoke-free home since purchase.
