GORGEOUS VICTORIAN EBONISED & PERFUME CASKET WITH BOULLE STYLE CARTOUCHE c.1865A lovely rectangular shaped French perfume casket. The ebonised casket is highlighted by brass stringing and a boulle cartouche on the lid. The top edge is carved and decorated - please see photos. The interior contains a pair of Paris porcelain flasks hand decorated with sprays of colourful spring flowers and picked out in gilt.All in good, unrestored antique condition. As can be see there is some wear to the gilding to the flasks and one of the tops has had a simple repair. The escutcheon decoration requires replacing.Dimensions: 18cm wide
