GORGEOUS VINTAGE SPRINGTIME EASTER OUTFIT MADE BY VOGUE FOR THE GINNY DOLL 1950s:

Here today is a gorgeous vintage pink version of the Springtime Easter outfit made by Vogue for the early Ginny doll in 1950/51 or 52. Im not certain if this adorable little dress is the Springtime Easter dress or not, but its my opinion that it is after researching this outfit in the Vogue Encyclopedia\'s. The little white organdy dress has a faint window-pane design, with pink trim and a pink bow, and a white organdy embroidered eyelet ruffle and butterfly sleeves, closing in the back with an intact single hook and eye. Although the dress is untagged I am almost 100% positive it was made by Vogue for the Ginny doll. The dress is crisp and clean in excellent excellent condition with no holes, no tears, no stains (the hook and eye has a tad bit of rust), and no odors, there is the possibility the dress could have been washed. Please note: you are offerding on all items shown in the 3rd picture only. The adorable hat is not a part of the Easter outfit but it is from the same era that looks absolutely adorable with the dress. I believe the pink bloomers are original to the dress but they are very stretched at the waist so I have them cinched around the waist with a piece of elastic cord rather than a safety pin. Also included is the half slip that maybe original but has a stretched waist also. To complete the outfit are pink leatherette greek key center snap shoes and pink rayon socks. Both shoes have had satisfactory repairs to one side of the straps. If you leave the socks inside the shoes and gently wiggle your Ginny dolls foot into the sock inside of the shoe there should be no problems. The sweet little hat is perfect, I have folded it over one half to give it a more adorable look. This is an absolutely precious outfit that displays beautifully even with some slight vintage issues that are pretty common after 60 years. I recently had a discussion with a very knowledgable Ginny doll collector and she agreed with my opinion that this dress is the pink version of the hard to find seldom seen Springtime Easter #21 dress made by Vogue in 1950/51. Thanks for the info.
