This is a Gorgeous Vintage Chenille Wool Deco Coat from the 1920\'s!
LABEL: PRINTZESS
Fabric is a medium to heavy-weight chenille-style wool... chocolate brown in colour... super soft ribbed texture. Coat is lined with a light-weight silk. Middle insulation layer of gauzy fabric.
Design: Oversized collar with swirling whimsical embroidery - that can be worn open as a portrait collar - or buttoned as a cowl/ funnel collar... long sleeves that flare at embroidered cuffs... straight yet fuller fit that flares slightly towards hemline... hip pockets... button closure at waist and neckline.
Good Vintage Condition! The seam structure is without flaws and strong. The silk lining is shredding and a panel is missing. The lining could easily be removed - but I will leave that up to the buyer as some collectors prefer the garment in \"as found\" condition. There are moth nibbles on the underside of the collar, a few on the back, and a smattering on the front-right lower half - and some on the sleeves -- I counted at least 22. You can see the ivory insulation lining peeking through at these spots in the photographs. There are a few strips of fading on the left side - one below the pocket - and the others near the hemline. Still a gorgeous specimen!! This coat is sold \"AS-IS\" with no returns or refunds.
