Description:Antique Gorham sterling silver .925 cast matte wash high relief, large sugar serving tongs, in the gorgeous, scarce Eglantine 1870 multi motif repousse floral Sweetbriar rose pattern. The tongs have a raised fist crest on the end of the handle, which has the appearance of a tall building. The tongs have the pattern on the inside which is also rare to see, are hallmarked faintly & blend into the pattern on the inside of the handle with the Gorham lion, anchor, & G mark, & sterling. The tongs measure approximately 5 inches long, & weigh 1.285 ozt. The tongs are in very good antique estate condition as follows; No dents or repairs.
