I purchased this interesting group of antique celluloid dolls from the estate of a doll collector. The largest is 10\" and the tiny Kewpie type is a pin that says \"May all of your troubles be little ones\". Most of the strung dolls are loose as the elastic or string has be come loose over the years, which is typical and most of the dolls are fine from the front but some have typical dents due to this fragile material. From left to right the largest doll has a dent at the back of the head and a tiny one in the front lock of hair, the red doll has a very tiny indent at the back of the head, the next Kewpie type has a front and back head depression, the next strung baby has a back head dent and some wax pricing on the back. All of these were made in Japan and perhaps you can use these or add then to your collection.
DESCRIPTIONIn Western Pa, near the mountains there are many generational homes with tons of vintage & antique items along with baby-boomer items. I find items from Mid-Century Modern to great old primitives. I usually do not do any restoration of fixing and offer these items as found. Let me know if looking for anything particular
