Here is a great advertising acid etched pre prohibition era shell style glass from the J. and S. Gooduau or Goodwau or Goodwaw distillery perhaps? I am not sure exactly what this company was, but it is certainly a pre pro whiskey bourbon style of shot glass from Saint Louis MO Missouri. The glass is just over 2.5 inches tall and is taller than most shot glasses of that era. Sherry port wine etc are all keywords also. One air bubble in the top near the rim, no chips or cracks in this perfect example of pre prohibition drinks from the STL area. Some brewery beer competitors of the time were The Wm J lemp, griesedieck Bros, Bluff City in Alton, ILL, Heim, Stag in Belleville, Wagner in Granite City, Illinois, Klausmann, Schorr Kolkschneider, Phoenix, Anheuser Busch Budweiser, Faust, etc in STL, etc. VERY RARE item, a great Saint Louis pre pro advertising piece!!
